A couple of final heats in the EP Open Trails went down today at Point, but I can't see how they managed to surf with this marginal swell.

In fact, I thought of having a look, but the Parents invited us over for Pizza and then I took an extended afternoon nap.

I can't understand why the competitions has this way of always happening in such terrible surf.  Especially the local club competitions or the provincial comps?!

No wonder the guys from other towns out surf the J-bay guys very often. We are so used to having decent swell and long waves that are easy to get onto. When it looks like today, many of us don't even bother, but the guys from slummies and PE still milk the little onshore horses for all their worth.  

Whatever. Here come the last couple of days of March already and Winter is almost here!
